Science and Engineering Day is the University of Southampton’s annual free family-friendly event, packed with 140+ interactive activities, talks, live shows, workshops and laboratory tours!
Join researchers, students, artists, local community groups and associations. Discover some of the amazing research taking place at the University of Southampton, while visiting the state-of-the-art facilities at Highfield Campus and Boldrewood Innovation Campus.
Get ready to get hands-on, build, test and think like a real scientist, learn from the past to understand the present and explore what the future could be!
Expect to immerse yourself in an interactive world of facts, techs, materials, sounds, lights and ideas that will shape your journey to discover the amazing.
The event is FREE to attend, but we require all visitors to book a general admission ticket in advance and to check-in to one of our Welcome Desks upon arrival on the day.
